Stream Data Centers is an expanding U.S. colocation provider with a presence in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Denver and Minneapolis. They are a privately held company focused on delivering secure and independent data centers for corporate users. Stream's data centers are built to attract users that value private infrastructure in multiple forms – including the physical data hall, UPS, PDU, generator units, equipment yards and office space. Stream Data Center tenants can control their own infrastructure, and their facilities are typically dual fed from two separate substations, delivered with 2N electrical redundancy. The company is headquartered in Dallas. Purpose built in 2014, Stream’s facility in Minneapolis is a 75,000 SF building located twenty-five miles to the southwest of downtown. Enclosed by a K-4 crash rated security fence, the building is fed by two separate substations and is designed to withstand winds of up to 185 miles per hour. The facility offers three separate private suites, each with its own private entrances, private Disaster Recovery office space, and private A/B telco rooms.
