Hurricane Electric is a global internet backbone and colocation provider.Founded in 1994, the company now operates the world’s largest IPv4 and IPv6 global network with connections all over North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, and South Africa. Hurricane Electric offers colocation out of three California data center locations and is Headquartered out of their Fremont 2 facility in Fremont, California. In Q1 2002, the company acquired, New York based Internet Service Provider, Lightning.Net.
