The SubTropolis Technology Center is a sizeable data center campus occupying 400,000 square feet in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. With an easily scalable design, STC is capable of expanding to two million square feet to provide tenants ample space for their IT infrastructure needs. The Center is located deep underground, covered by a 150-foot layer of limestone with a six-acre utility yard on the exterior surface. LightEdge Solutions is the anchor tenant in the underground facility, but the STC plans to accommodate both government agencies and enterprise users as future tenants. The Center is safe from a variety of natural hazards due to its subterranean location. The world’s largest underground business location, the SubTropolis Technology Center focuses on providing highly-reliable, secure, and eco-friendly colocation services to a variety of customers.
